NURSERY FEES
A Bright Start Nursery (Rumney) Ltd has always set fees at a level which provides good value without compromising our mission to provide outstanding childcare – as shown by our Very good inspection reports ever since we first opened in 2014. All Childcare Vouchers and government funding, including the "30-hours scheme" are welcome.

Our Breakfast Club is available Monday to Friday from 7.00am - 9.00am including breakfast and a drop off to school.

We provide flexible childcare to suit the needs to our parent and carers.
AFTERSCHOOL CLUB

Our Afterschool Club is available Monday to Friday from 3.00pm - 6.00pm including a 2 course tea and a pick up from school.

WRAP AROUND CARE
We offer a convenient wraparound service for school drop-offs and pick-ups. Our flexible schedule accommodates the needs of both nursery and primary school children throughout the day. Here’s a quick list of schools where we currently offer wrap-around care. If your child is at a different school, please reach out so we can confirm if we can accommodate them.

At A Bright Start Nursery Rumney Ltd, we prioritise the safety of your children. We provide schools with photos and names of our staff members responsible for collecting the children. Additionally, our team consistently wears their I.D. badges throughout the day, ensuring that everyone is easily identifiable and secure. Your child's safety is our top priority.

FUNDING AND SCHEMES
Cardiff childcare offer for children aged 3-4 years
The Welsh Government is committed to providing working parents of three and four-year-old children with 30 hours of government-funded childcare and Foundation Phase Nursery Provision for up to 48 weeks of the year (the Childcare Offer).
Council will administer the Childcare Offer in Cardiff. As it is only funded for 48 weeks of the year you must self- fund in full for the further 4 weeks. The Childcare Offer will comprise of:

12.5 hours per week of Foundation Phase Nursery Education Provision

17.5 hours of childcare per week during school term time – 39 weeks

30 hours of childcare per week during 9 weeks of the school holidays
We can provide care as part of the childcare offer from the term after your child’s third birthday. We may cap spaces on the number of children who can access this at nursery depending on demand. (The childcare offer funding only includes the hourly care of your child, additional costs may be applied.)
* We offer parents and carers the choice to provide a packed lunch for their child, or we can supply all meals at nursery for a small additional fee. Additionally, there's a small charge for transporting your child to and from school when using the childcare offer funding.*
Tax-Free Childcare
