Hello Parents / Carers!
Hello! I’m Louise, the proud owner of A Bright Start Nursery, which I opened in 2014 with my talented daughters Charlotte and Vicky. Charlotte manages our setting on a daily basis, while Vicky and Nicole oversees the baby room and provides valuable support in the office. Together, they make a fantastic team!
I have been happily married to my husband for close to 40 years now as we began dating in our late teens, I am a proud mother to three grown up daughters, as well as the grandmother of two energetic grandsons and two gorgeous granddaughters.
In our free time, my husband and I love going for long walks, exploring new countries, especially Crete in Greece, and creating lovely memories with our grandchildren.
Launching the nursery was an exciting new chapter for me, especially as I hadn't previously worked in childcare. To effectively support our setting, I obtained my Level 3 Childcare qualification, which also enables me to pitch in wherever needed.
My primary role at the nursery is as the nursery chef, and I take great pride in preparing homemade meals on-site. I adore involving the children in planning our seasonal menus, catering to their tastes, and encouraging their curiosity about food.
I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside my daughters, as we create a nurturing and welcoming environment for all families who join our nursery..
